"I had a problem with an order that I requested that they don't overcook the egg. Well I admit fault for not checking the order before I left when I got down the road I discovered that I was unable to eat the sandwich because it was extremely overcooked. I called immediately what was told I needed to speak with the manager the next day. When I tried to call the next day I was placed on hold for 20 minutes and no one ever came back to the phone. Because this location is on my regular route and I have the space in my truck I went ahead and kept the sandwich and brought it back in. The girls working went ahead and called the manager at home. It turns out she was aware of the situation. They were able to get my sandwich remade and now it is absolutely wonderful. The food here is always good but after this last experience I do have to recommend if you do carry out check your order before you leave to be sure it's correct and made to your liking. Other than being left to sit on hold I don't have any complaints about the staff. The people who work here are always incredibly sweet. I stopped at the truck stop every week during my regular route. I plan to continue placing orders although I will exercise more caution in the future and check my order before I leave. That will keep myself happy knowing that I have what is correct and the staff happy knowing that they don't have to fix a problem days later."

"Stopped by on our way back to Oklahoma. It is a restaurant in a truck stop. The food was good. My plate was overflowing, but my husband's was lacking. I would go again if we were in the area, however would go somewhere else to use the restroom first. It was clean as far as trash and such, but very grungy. The chip basket in the photo was full, I just forgot to take a picture when it first came."

"This is a diner in a truck stop and we stopped here intentionally (we had eaten here before). Typical diner food but it was well done and service was quick. The one drawback is that the entry to the diner is open and next to the rest rooms. The rest rooms needed badly cleaning and there was a strong smell when we came into the building."

"The place was clean. The people were super nice, but the food left something to be desired. The burger was fine, the chicken fried steak was not good at all, and the corn tasted like it might have been spoiled."

"This was the best TexMex food we've ever had. Everything had so much authentic homemade flavor. I really loved the refried beans, I could have gotten a to go container just of that. The shredded chicken enchiladas were savory and I liked the flavor of the corn tortillas. The chicken taco was crispy and fresh. The chili relleno was perfectly cooked to perfection with a nice relleno sauce on top with peppers and spices in it. The salsa was perfect and completely homemade, it actually had good spice to it which is so hard to find. Even the chips were seasoned, I've never seen this and I loved it. Every time we drive through we're going to make a point to stop here. The restaurant dining area is very nice with indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of semi truck parking and even 2 showers that are available."

"Traveling from CA to MO. Needed to feed the fam and looked up reviews. Not bad! So we stopped. Super sweet staff! Food was homestyle kitchen! "Hot Mama" burger is hot! Good stuff! Chunky Chicken is a great little Sammie! Big Boy Burger is ginormous. Pickle fries! Yes please! This is a gem! Everything was great. Except for the restrooms that I am sure belong to the gas station. They literally smell like sewage."

"We stopped here for a quick bite on our way to California. It was already 9pm and few places were still open. The service was fast and the food was delicious. Big portions and reasonable prices! If you are driving along the route 66 this is the place!"
